About Us

The mission of JOE PAC is to advocate for, and elect supporters of, public education in Johnson County, KS. Are you concerned about the future of public education in Kansas? We are, and we think you should be too. Due to excessive state tax cuts and anticipated continued attacks on K-12 and higher education in the upcoming session of the Kansas Legislature, it is more important than ever for educators to step up and present a united front, a collective voice, and a strong defense for our students and public schools.
A group of concerned local educators has created a new vehicle, Johnson County Educators Political Action Committee (JOE PAC), to unite all Johnson County public school and university employees in advocating for, and electing supporters of, quality public education. It is crucial that we convince every Johnson County legislator to fight for renewed funding for our schools and universities.
Elections have consequences. If our high-quality public schools in Johnson County are to survive, it will take all of us working together to elect true education-friendly officials.
